Unable to receive alerts when iPhone is in lock mode!

This is a great app for me to keep a distant eye on my 6 year olds blood sugars. I will need to purchase another charger for my phone though because Im sure my phone will get a little more use now.

This app provides a great service to those who help someone else manage their diabetes. They did a nice job sticking to a minimum viable product- the essential features of the app are there, nothing more. They could easily add a handful of feature to improve the usability (touch scrolling on the graph, turning to landscape mode to see more of the graph, etc.) Notifications: need improvement. The only thing I see is “user123 has a notification”- it doesn’t tell me what for. Then I need to go into the app and look for myself what it is notifying me about.

For whatever reason, this app only intermittently works on my iPhone 4. I have restarted/ erased my phone. I called Dexcom and they stated it is my phone which I have no other issues with. When it works- it is wonderful. But that doesnt happen too often as I generally get an error that it can not connect to the server. Very frustrating.

This is a truly amazing app! This allows my wife to watch my sugar when Im extremely active and help me stay aware of any hypoglycemic events! I have slept deeper, worked harder and lived better, knowing that other people are also helping watch over me.

The Dexcom share system has been a wonderful addition to our diabetes management. However I would love to see the follow app work with iPad, especially since it is listed as a compatible device in the app description. I dont always have the spare battery life on my phone to have the follow app running and I feel this would be much more useful on my iPad, especially at night so I could leave it up and running for a quick glance without without worrying about being awoken due to texts, calls or other notifications on my phone, since follow app does not give audible alerts when phone is in do not disturb or on silent.

Recommend allowing email alert option as well. Does seem to drain the battery more quickly...

The DexCom Follow and Share2 app are exactly what we needed. The apps give our daughter the freedom she needs with the peace of mind her parents need. They work great!

This is a game changer for parents of a type 1. For any parent who wants to give his/her child more independence this is for you. If your having trouble with the nurse at school this is for you. THANK YOU DEXCOM.

I use this app on my iPhone when my 6 year old is at home and within range of our iPad which works properly with the Dexcom Share2 app. It would be ideal though if I could follow her at home while she is away at school with the iPad.

Allows me to monitor my loved ones blood sugar levels. Apple watch is great for at a glance check ins.

At startup, the Dexcom Follow should describe and define the trends and trend arrows. Also, there should be a true arrow description / help menu within the app. This would be useful for non-diabetics in understanding the future direction of the sharers blood sugar.

I installed this on my my iPad and could see my sons sugar level just fine. So far so good. The day after, the app wouldnt work anymore: it displayed an "incompatible iOS" message, which makes no sense since my iPad has a compatible OS and hasnt changed since the day before. I suspect there a silly bug in the app. It still works fine on my iPhone with the same OS. Fingers crossed. Also, I find the invitation process rather inconvenient: you cannot use an invitation for several devices, you have to re-invite yourself on every device, even with the same email address. And of course they expire. It could have been done a lot better by just checking you dont go over the limit of 5, if thats really an issue.

The app alerts correctly the first time on the apple watch then you view and dismiss the alert. The problem is the app alerts again each minute on the apple watch regardless of how long you have set the "and repeat every (x) minutes". Please fix this!

I was so looking forward to using this app with my apple watch but Im ready to remove it after using it for a few days. The notifications of a high every 5 minutes is frustrating, annoying and has nothing to do with the settings I enabled. I wont be using it again until the a future version addresses the bug fixes. Considering returning my watch too, as this was the whole reason for purchasing it. Boo!!!

I love this app and being able to connect it with my Apple Watch. I have been a little disappointed in how it stays connected to the content it feeds. I check my watch to see my spouses glucose level and am often met with the three dash marks. To remedy the problem I often have to find my phone, go into multitask mode and close the app. Only after reopening will I see current information. I looked to see if background app refresh was a feature and it isnt. Please consider adding this ability to allow a more steady stream of data to come in. Thanks! I love your product!

Since updating my phone I have had many problems getting data from my sons Dexcom. I am back to getting no sleep because I cant trust the Dexcom to work properly. Also, I would love to have an alarm for double trend arrows. When I finally get an alarm that he is high or low, with double trend arrows it is almost too late to catch before he is dangerously low or ridiculously high. Also, Id love to know other info like sensor fail or ??? Or the alert that he needs a new sensor, etc. This app has been AMAZING and has allowed me to sleep at night. Please update!

Not retrieving data consistently after updating to ios9!!!

I uses to monitor my daughters BG every day and relay to someone who assist her at her school. However, since the Apple update now it doesnt show me any info!!!! Help!!!!

Seriously Dexcom? Its not like Apple just surprised you and updated to iOS 9. As a developer, you have had access to numerous beta versions of iOS9 for a while. I now I cant get my daughters reading anymore. It just wont display them. You need to hurry up with the new version. Many people rely on this app and its sad you couldnt have a working version ready to go...
