Dexcom share app

This app is a very good tool for aiding in the Management of T1D for our teenage son. We know at all times if he is in range and can communicate with his as soon as he is not. Having the ability to know through the night that his numbers are good is huge piece of mind. This is the best tool in our management kit yet.

Saved our sanity

This app has been great. The technology to see our sons BG from our watch is so helpful and we are so grateful to not have to buy extra pebble watches or transmitters but rather use our same technology. We adjusted alerts to our needs so we dont have the issue of them going off without us needed to take action.

Please Support iPhone 6 Resolution

How is it you still dont support the iPhone 6/+ resolution? The 7 is around the corner for heavens sake. Come on.

No alarm on my IPad

Alarm not going off after last update.

Looses connection all the time!

Its great... When it works, however, I find that the receiver will have the number displayed but this app says no data. This is frustrating as I loose connection at night because my 2 year old daughter and my room is apparently too far away and that can cause the receiver to loose signal. I thought Id download the share app and be able to leave the receiver in her room so I could still get the updates but its worthless 95% of the time because it cant get data. I really really hope this will be fixed.

Keeps dropping signal

Would be nice if there is an update do where it fixed the dropping data connection.. My wifi is fine and even when I switch to data internet still nothing.. I wouldnt of bought G5 if I knew this was a big problem. Looses data when my daughters transmitter is In the same house.. I love it when it works!

New to Dexcom and G5 for toddler with T1D

My only issues are that like the "Dexcom G5 Mobile" app this Follow app needs to be able to be customized into showing up on my Notification Center on the iPhone (like where stocks and weather widgets are). There isnt this option currently available and it needs to be there. Also, I invested in the Apple Watch, but this Share app isnt able to be customized on your watch face like the "Dexcom G5 Mobile" app either (not able to set as complication). Once those two things are corrected, for myself, Id then change my review. The product itself is awesome. We love and appreciate the technology. Just a few user issues.

So useful

I love this app. My daughter has a G5, and this app allows her BF and I to help her monitor her BG. Very occasional connectivity issues, usually when the transmitter is near the end. I would like it if I could turn the phone sideways and see the graph like she can. Its my ch easier to read that way.

Only one change. Easy fix?

Please app developers! Can you change it so that when I get a notification in my lock screen I can see the glucose number? It would be really helpful! Thank you!

Life changing

Fantastic technology that has literally been life-changing for me and for my daughter. Cant emphasize that enough -- tremendous product. The app itself has room for improvement. For example, I cant repeat an Urgent Low Notification? This is a huge oversight that creates dangerous conditions. I work as a design lead for a Fortune 500 company -- Dexcom, please feel free to give me a holler if you ever want to get some more feedback on the app.

Awful

The principle is good but the execution very poor. The alarms are hugely irritating. The repeat function does not correspond to menu settings (i.e. instead of reminding every 30 or 60 minutes - as set - the app continues to alarm annoyingly every 5 minutes without break). The functionality is weak. But its a start.

Good, but needs a bit more

The Dexcom Follow app is a wonderful thing to have to be able to monitor my sons levels when he is not at home. By putting the Dexcom Share app on his iPod Touch, we are able to see how he is doing throughout the day. It is not perfect... nothing is, but it is typically very close (once a few calibrations have been done). My wish is that when I get a notification that is had more information. As it stands right now, You have to actually open the app to see what is going on. This would easily be a five star app if the notification told you, for example: "notification from (name) level is high 226." Etc. it would make it that much faster to jump to action.

Does not work with iOS10 on iPhone 7

Does not save any alert setting. PLEASE FIX IMMEDIATELY!!

Complication for Apple Watch? Please?

We love what the Dexcom G5 has done for managing my daughters diabetes. I only wish there was an Apple Watch complication for the follow app so I could check at a glance instead of having to open the app itself. Would make a big difference to us.

Great with a few suggestions

Our 5 year old son was diagnosed with type 1 about six months ago. We have leaned to love the Dexcom. For the most part its accurate enough and we love the fact that we can send him to school with a iPhone and we can all monitor him (including the school nurse). I have two suggestions for the Dexcom team: 1) allow us to schedule the sharing - the school nurse doesnt need to get alerts when hes not at school. As it stands we have to try to remember to turn on and off the sharing for the nurse. This would be such a simple but valuable thing to add! 2) Give detailed access to the graph like we have with the actual G5 app when you turn the phone sideways and can inspect any part of the chart for time and sugar level. 3) lastly: please update it so we can see the glucose value from the new iOS 10 home screen. No need to unlock and open the app - that would be wonderful.

Needs an Update

Recently updated to iOS 10 and the different alert settings do not save. It appears the app may still work, but would be nice to have the front-end issue corrected.

Dexcom for watch

I love this app but would really love to see an update allowing a complication on the Apple Watch! It would be amazing to just be able to look at my watch face and see my daughters blood sugar!

Very good app but could use a few features

I really love this app but it would be nice if the alerts said more than "glucose alert". Is it a low alert or high alert? I have to unlock phone and open app to find out. Getting the number would be even better. And adding an iPhone today view widget would be the best. The G5 app does all this but not the follow app.

Love it but...

Live the app but wish i could make it a widget on my phone! Daughter has type 1, shes 9, it would be nice if I could have the follow app as a widget just like she has her Dexcom app as a widget.

Great, when it works.

I love being able to see my young daughters blood sugars when they are not at home... when it works. The problem is that even at home the share app tells me no data a lot. More that showing me the blood sugar. I really hope that an update is soon to fix that problem. When it is then I can rate it better.
