Please update for ios9!

People count on this app for health and safety. I cant imagine why its taking so long to update for ios9. You knew the update was coming, please fix!!

Constant issues since iOS 9 update!

Constant no data alerts! Please fix as it has become unreliable. Love the share system when its working properly!!

Please update for iOS 9!!!

First, Dexcom & Share has changed our lives! I have actually been getting sleep since we started on Dexcom in January. However in the past few days since the iPhone update, if Im not constantly checking the share app within more than five minutes it shuts down and I have to close the app and restart it. Kinda defeats the purpose of notifications. Other apps have been updated for the new iOS, not this one. All of us moms & dads are desperate. Please update soon!

Fixed iOS 9 issue

I could not follow my sons readings after installing iOS 9. I deleted dexcom app then installed it again. Now it works.

It works now

No need for an update to the app. Dexcom fixed the sync issue and now our app refreshes. Looking forward to the G5 for our daughter.

Caution Endusers!

Despite having all alarm notifications enabled and device volume at 100%, the Follow app often fails to sound alarms, and not just on a single device. My child experienced multiple lows and urgent lows just last night. While the Follow app data indicated lows, it never once sounded an alarm on my iPhone or iPad. Sometimes alarms work, other times theres nothing. This is an EXTREMELY SERIOUS flaw that should be remedied ASAP. Again, caution endusers!

WHY WONT YOU UPDATE TO iOS9?!

Multiple reps had stated update was supposed to come out the week of iOS9 release. Nothing. Multiple bugs involving sounds/notifications for lows/highs on my device/wife’s. Father of a T1D 2 year old and heavily depend on the tech for safety. Get it together and put some resources into updating your apps instead of focusing on selling the G5 which is already backordered. Incredibly disappointed in this company and app at the moment.

Not working

The October 20th version will not update :(

No Data

I get a lot of "no data". I have to go in and refresh the Dexcom share app in order to get the readings. Very nice when it works, but frustrating when it doesnt.

Update and fix problems IOS 9

Please update and fix bugs with IOS 9. My sons readings are as much as 100 difference than his Meter!

Alarms every 5min!

Despite my settings on my iPhone 6s (using IOS 9.1) to the contrary, and even after silencing the first warning, it alarms EVERY FIVE MINUTES for both Hypos & Hypers. It wore my Apple Watch battery down too much and more importantly, gave me "Alarm Fatigue" which is worse than not having alarms at all. Ive deleted the app for now, & will hope this flaw is fixed SOON.

Great for what it does. Awesome technology but

The Apple watch app needs help. Why have there not been any update to include complications for the Apple watch face?

Inconsistent

Is there a plan to address the issues with the app (and not just this one but my daughters G5 app too) working intermittently? Wondering why we spent the money to upgrade to the G5 when the G4 was working well enough.

Some frustrations. And suggestions.

The app works well enough. Do have to close and reopen the app regularly throughout the day in order to refresh, but that is easy enough. Would love to be able to see longer time periods than the 24 hour max. Would REALLY love to be able to see the carb and insulin information that we are entering into my Sons phone on the G5 mobile app. And would also like the ability to have trending alerts - double arrows up or down for a period of time, etc. We have the low alert set to the highest (85?) setting but at a double-arrow down rate which happens from time to time, that doesnt give us much time to react.

Everybody relax

After reading all reviews I was amazed there was very little positive feedback. If you are reading this because you are considering buying Dexcom, buy Dexcom. Is it perfect? No. But what is. Does it improve glucose management and stress? Absolutely. We have had a Dexcom for 8 months and it has been a total game changer. The app isnt perfect, the system takes a few calibrations to become accurate sometimes, and it is slow to catch rapidly changing sugars (due to differences in interstitial fluid glucose changes) But when its working, you can sleep, they can play, and you can stop staring in the rear view mirror to make sure your child is still ok after their bolus. Overall, totally worth 5 stars.

Notifications every 5min

This app is really intended to do two things: 1) Accurately reflect the blood sugar of whoever the user is following. 2) Notify the use when the blood sugar is out of range On point 1, the app does quite well. Not complaints there. On point 2, however, there are massive technical failures. Despite being able to set preferences for when and how frequently to notify a user when BG is out of range (I have mine set to once per hour), the app sends a Push Notification every 5 minutes. This is not only no actionable data, but results in either deletion of the app or removal of push notifications entirely. By notifying too often, the app effectively doesnt notify you at all, as you will learn to ignore it out of necessity. This is a very minor technical issue, and can easily be fixed.

"No Data" dropouts defeat the purpose

After easily setting up the G4 receiver to connect to my sons iPhone 6s we got data to our Follow apps, but the feed drops out ALL THE TIME until I ask my son to go into the Share app and sign in again. This is ridiculous as one of the huge promises of this tech is to allow "discrete" monitoring of his BG; I peek at my phone, I see were ok, nobody gets bugged. Minimizing the nagging communication was something I was really looking forward to. Now I have one more thing to bug him about; "Hey, can you pair the CGMS to the phone again?" I get that the devices will be separated sometimes, but the pairing needs to be way more resilient than what Im seeing. Not only does he have to go into the app, but he also has to supply his password for the data to begin streaming again. Im super disappointed because this was the whole reason why we got him an iPhone. Now Im in a two year contract at $80/month not getting the benefit that seemed so obvious when I evaluated this system. On a positive note, I love the accuracy of the G4. We dont have the unit that contains the Bluetooth in the transmitter that goes on his body (eligible in April), so he still has to carry the separate receiver, but if we have the same problem with the nextgen transmitter not pairing, itll be a step backwards.

Since iOS update 9.2.1

Ugh constantly dropping signal, asking son multiple times a day to reload app because I have no data. And when I drops out I dont receive an alarm-even though its set up that way. Please update app.

Married to a DM1

We recently got the G5 mobile die to my wife having DM1 and just giving birth to our first child. I wanted a way that while I was at work at night I could monitor her blood sugars to make sure she was ok, especially with being home alone at night. Now not only do I follow them but we are setting it up on her mothers iPhone so she can too. (They live 3 miles away) now not only will I know but someone else that can get home quicker than I can will too. The only no data we have gotten is when she left her phone on the other side of the house. No biggie it picked right back up. People complain about the frequent notifications of lows and highs, umm hello!!! Thats what its for!!!! Highs can be just as dangerous as a low. Please dexcom notify me when my wifes blood sugar is low every 5 minutes. I wont care because it helps me make sure she can take care of our child.

Crashes from alerts

The Follow app provides alerts on the lock screen when something significant happens. Swiping the alert left should unlock and takes you directly to the Follow app. Unfortunately, the app crashes when I try this. Opening the app directly works fine. Everything else works fine. Opening the app from the lock alert crashes *every* time.
